Science - Plants

We have been learning a lot about living organisms in science. This past week we learned about the parts of a plant and how these parts help a plant survive in its habitat. We drew trees, used watercolors to paint the tree, finally we labeled the parts of a tree. 

Hoping for Spring

On this very snowy day in April, we are hoping for spring to show up sooner rather than later! We drew flowers with a butterfly on it. The students enjoyed paying close attention to the directions for their drawing and then later coloring their masterpiece. 

Jazz Band

The West De Pere High School Jazz Band came to school today. The students learned a lot about the different instruments that are used in the Jazz Band. The Jazz Band performed four different songs. The students enjoyed listening and watching the band perform. 

 

 

Persuasive Writing

In writing, the students are working on persuasive writing. This week they worked on writing about why their spring break was the best. They had lots of fun sharing their persuasive writing with each other and listening to all of the fun things people did over break!
