Seesaw Activities
We did a few activities on Seesaw today! The kids had a blast! :)
In math, the students have been working hard on place value. We have been learning about the tens place and the ones place. They had to build a number using base ten manipulatives and then wrote the number of tens and ones along with the number that they built. Finally, we took a picture of our work and added it to our Seesaw Portfolios.
In phonics, we have been learning about glued sounds. This week, we have been focusing on words that end with -ang, -ing, -ong, and -ung. The students were given a list of words and they were instructed to mark their words by putting a box around the glued sound. Then they took a picture of their sheet and recorded them saying the words. Keep in mind that we have been practicing really hard and still get a few of them confused :)
